Medela is proud to introduce our first Certified Nursing Centers as part of our new Partner Program.   The Partner Program recognizes accounts who continued to grow their business with the support of the Medela brand.  What is a Certified?   A Certified is not just about nursing.  These stores offer a full product assortment that allows moms a “one stop shop” for all of her breastfeeding, nursing, feeding, and educational needs.  These stores offer a dedicated staff with superior customer service, Certified Product Specialists and Bra Fitters, Breastfeeding Specialist referrals from their store or Breastfeeding Specialists on staff, educational materials and classes, and so much more.

The Women’s Hospital Lactation Department offers comprehensive services to women who wish to breastfeed. Their professional staff includes 6 Registered Nurses who are also International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC), 6 Registered Nurses who are also Certified Lactation Counselors, and 5 Registered Nurses who have extensive clinical training in lactation.

Great Beginnings offers wonderful services: 

·         Monthly breastfeeding classes that cover basic information on feeding and pumping.

·         breastpump rental or purchase along with other specialized breastfeeding aides.

·         Warm line for mothers with breastfeeding questions or problems.

·         Complimentary weight checks in the Great Beginnings Store.

·         Outpatient consults by appointment in the Great Beginnings Store.
